Are river crossings guaranteed?
River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed. However, during peak season (Aug-Oct), crossings happen frequently. We position you at the best crossing points and stay as long as needed to maximize your chances.
How long should I spend on a migration safari?
We recommend minimum 5-7 days to have good chances of witnessing river crossings. For calving season, 4-6 days is ideal. Longer safaris (10+ days) allow you to experience multiple aspects of the migration.
